In the ever-changing energy industry, our client, a municipal energy supplier, faces the challenging task of implementing the powerful S4/HANA ERP system as part of a greenfield approach. This approach gives the client the opportunity to build its system from scratch, unencumbered by existing system structures and processes. To efficiently manage the implementation and minimize the risk of project delays and cost overruns, finding an experienced project management office (PMO) through central purchasing is critical. This PMO is to support the internal project team in the successful SAP implementation.
